Monte do Poco Novo is a traditional, single-storey farmhouse, which was extended seven years ago.
It has a terracotta tiled roof and open-beamed pitched ceilings (some are cane, others tongue-and-groove
timber). All of the windows have hardwood shutters, all internal doors are also of natural wood, and the
house has tiled floors throughout.

irrigation needs throughout the property. Water supply to the property is obtained from a deep bore-hole.
Water is drawn up to a large tank, whence it is distributed for household and irrigation purposes.
Historically, there have always been ample supplies, even during a recent drought that lasted eighteen
months. Drainage is by means of septic tanks from both the main house and the annexe.
The fitted bed, headboard and bedside cabinets, all white equipment, irrigation system and a list of tools
