In this section you are likely to be looking at larger properties with more land or a better location.
Some of the houses may have had certain work already done but you will still generally have to do
lots of work to get the house you want. Again, you should allow about €400 per sq metre for a
local builder to do the work, but this could be higher depending on the finishes you choose.
Central Portugal has lots of properties in this price range both large and small and as a rule of
thumb, the smaller the house the less you will have to spend on renovation work.

We meet up with you for a coffee or lunch and get to know exactly what you are looking for
and what your plans are for the future. You will be able to look through our brochure on
properties and discuss with us the location, condition, price etc.
Having chosen several properties, we will then make arrangements with the owners for a
viewing,at this stage, if you wish, we will have our legal representative present to answer
any questions.
If you decide to purchase a property, we will then help you with your fiscal numbers and
bank accounts and start the paperwork with our lawyer.
When all the paperwork is complete, the transfer of ownership is carried out at the notary's
office. If you cannot return to Portugal when this is due, we will if you wish, represent you
and ensure the deeds are given to your lawyer or sent to you by registered post.
